This model consists of three single-phase transformers with multiple primary and secondary taps terminated at pin receptacles located on the panel of the unit. The transformers may be used independently or the three may be interconnected in parallel, in series, or in some poly-phase configuration.
Each transformer is rated at 120 volt-ampere at 60 Hz, and consists of two primary and two secondary winding. Each primary winding has 300 turns and is rated at 120 volts and 0.5 amperes. One of the primary windings is tapped at 32 volts. Each secondary winding has 150 turns and is rated at 60 volts and 1.0 amperes. The secondary winding located below the primary winding having the 32 V taps has 12 volts and 24 volt taps. The other secondary winding only as a 44 volt tap. The primary windings are made of 24 gauge wire and the secondary windings are made of 21 gauge wire.
OPERATION:
Make the appropriate connections to the unit and make sure that the power, voltage, and current rating of the transformer will not be exceeded before you energize the unit.
